Trauma-Informed Teaching & Counseling (Elementary)(A.M.) ZOOM July 14, 2020




This session is focused on the needs of school counselors or administrators who function in that capacity. 

Important Session Information:


In the United States, over 1 million children a diagnosed with a mental illness or disability that could be better explained by trauma. The training exposes teachers, paraprofessionals and counselors to the parts of trauma that can impede a child from reaching his/her full potential while also providing practical ideas on how to improve their learning environment. Participants will leave with interventions that work in an elementary school setting. This workshop will be delivered in a ZOOM format with the link being sent out the day BEFORE and the MORNING of the training.
