Effective Use of Virtual Manipulatives For Math Instructions in Grades K-2 - An Interactive Zoom Session(June 17, 2020 9:00-12:00
Share
The use of manipulatives are vital to helping learners make sense of complex mathematical concepts. What happens when students do not have access to those materials because they are not at school or maybe because you do not have the manipulatives you need in your classroom? What changes when students are engaging virtually instead of on a concrete level? What are the limitations? Or maybe we should be asking what are the opportunities?? Let's explore these ideas together in a short 1.5 hour interactive PD! Get ready to learn, discuss and be amazed!
