FULL LRE Teaching Tough TEKS High School U.S. History (JULY 7-10)




This session supports Social Studies teachers grades 9-12 via an online platform.

Important Session Information:


**Please note the session dates of July 7-10** **Participants MUST be online 1:30 - 3:00 p.m. EACH DAY** In this multi-day institute, the Law-Related Education (LRE) team identifies TEKS that are challenging to American History students. Working with scholars and consultants, participants will learn and receive valuable methods and resources. Content presentations are reinforced with practical activities which will be made available to participants. This institute is designed to target low performing High School U.S. History TEKS and to complement existing curriculum. This session will count for 12 hours of GT update credit. Participants MUST register with Region 9 AS WELL AS at texaslre.org to be enrolled in the course.
