FULL -CLOSE: RE Lone Star Government Grades 4-12 (JULY 13-14)




This session supports Social Studies teachers grades 6-8 via an online platform.

Important Session Information:


**Please note the delivery dates JULY 13 & 14 ** **Participants MUST be online 10:00-11:30 a.m. AND 1:30-3:00 p.m. BOTH DAYS** Join Law-Related Education in this new two day institute that provides an opportunity for teachers to explore the eras of Texas history, the uniqueness of Texas government and events that have shaped modern Texas. Learn, with scholars and consultants, how to stimulate all levels of student thinking using Texas History Event cards. Whether pre-teaching, reviewing, or differentiating a unit of study, these resources will improve your teaching. Participants will receive access to all materials. This session will count for 12 hours of GT update credit. Participants MUST register with Region 9 AS WELL AS at texaslre.org to be enrolled in the course.
