FULL LRE Institute on Founding Documents (JULY 20-24) ONLINE

This session supports Social Studies teachers grades 6-12 via an online platform.
Important Session Information:
**Note the dates of this session July 20, 22, 24** **Participants MUST be online 10:00 - 11:30 EACH DAY** This 18-hour institute will focus on The Declaration of Independence, influences on the development of the Constitution, the Constitutional Convention, the Federalist/Anti-Federalist debates, and a walk through the articles of the Constitution. Educators will have the opportunity to work at their own pace on portions of the institute, learn from scholars and consultants in live sessions, and demonstrate their learning through a variety of activities to encourage higher level thinking and differentiated strategies for all levels of learners. This session will count for 18 hours of GT update credit. Participants MUST register with Region 9 AS WELL AS at texaslre.org to be enrolled in the course.
