Positive Parent Talks (AM) Online Zoom (June 17, 2020 10:00am-11:00am) NEW




All online sessions will be geared toward educators and administrators of early learners.  A wide variety of topics will be covered.



Important Session Information:


This session will address learning how to communicate with guardians/parents in a way that creates unity between schools and families by establishing a Partnership Collaboration Model. Teachers/staff will learn to increase positive exchanges with parents/guardians regarding difficult topics and will learn how to give solutions to families through teaching parents/guardians what is expected in your classroom/school setting. Writing positive messages home with a focus on what works best for the individual student. By writing and speaking with a positive message in mind we form better relationships with our parents/guardians. Teachers/staff will have practical opportunities during the workshop in order to increase the use of positive interaction strategies with their parents/guardians. Teachers/staff will be introduced to a variety of communication modes when working their families. This session will be a live Zoom on June 17, 2020 from 10:00am-11:00am.
