Prek Power Hour (Topic: Family Engagement Plan Requirement) Zoom on June 9 at 10:00




HQPK updates and guidance for administrators and teachers. 

Important Session Information:


HB3 requires all prekindergarten programs to develop and implement a family engagement plan to assist the district in achieving and maintaining high levels of family involvement and positive family attitudes toward education. This plan is specific to prekindergarten, it has 6 required components, and the plan is separate from other required family engagement plans. The prekindergarten family engagement plan should be posted on your school website and a direct link should be provided in the HQPK component question section in PEIMS. Campus Administrators, Prekindergarten Teachers, and other Early Learning Stakeholders are encouraged to attend this one hour zoom to review the requirements. Following the zoom, participants will use the information to create a district family engagement plan or review and revise their current district family engagement plan.
