Brain Builders: How Brains are Built Through the Early Childhood Years 1:00-4:00 (P.M.)ZOOM June 18,2020 NEW

All online sessions will be geared toward educators and administrators of early learners.  A wide variety of topics will be covered.

Important Session Information:

Lifelong health is determined by more than just our genes; experiences at sensitive periods of development change the brain in ways that increase or decrease risk for later physical and mental illness, including addiction. This session will look at factors that can both promote and hinder the building of a child's brain. Discussion topics will include attachment, movement, play, positive and negative interactions, technology, language, development of behavior, learning foundations, and much more.
