Creating Tactile Books for Students with Visual Impairments - June 23, 2020 1:00 - 2:30

This session will provide an opportunity for teachers of students with visual impairments to modify and create tactile books and classroom materials for students with visual impairments.

This session will be part work study on your own to create at least two books or materials to promote literacy with your students who are visually impaired, and part ZOOM meeting to present your books and materials to the group. Please be prepared to provide sample IEP goals and projected lesson plan for your books and /or materials.

There will be a $250 per day fee for out-of-region or non Region 9 District participants. If coop membership is required, there will be a $125 per day fee for non-coop participants.
