FULL ONLINE Live Webinar - LRE: Hatton W. Sumners Institute - Kids Are Citizens, Too! (Grades K-3) July 17, 2020

The institute will provide resources to address the characteristics of good citizens, the need for rules and laws, and the respect for authority as well as the symbols, customs, and celebrations that represent America's identity. These concepts are explored through guided and shared reading/writing opportunities appropriate for kindergarten through 3rd grade students.
Important Session Information:
Participants registering for this session should plan on being available for live sessions from 9:00 am - 10:30 am and 1:30 pm - 3:00 pm on July 17, 2020. Participants will participate in live sessions for 3 hours on July 17, 2020 and complete activity work at their own pace which will provide a total of 6 hours CPE credit. An overview of the modules are: Pre-Module Activity, Content and Pedagogy Live Sessions, Post-Activity, Curated Resources. You will also need to register on the LRE website - www.texaslre.org - at the beginning of June.
