Substitute Teacher Training - September, 2020

Important Session Information:


This session will review legal and educational issues, classroom and behavior management techniques and teaching strategies to assist substitutes in the classroom. Each participants will be required to purchase a copy of the Substitute Teacher Handbook which will contain activities appropriate for all grade and subject areas, teaching strategies, and suggestions for working with special needs students. The cost of the book is $25. The participants will need to purchase the book at the door with a check or cash the day of the training.

  • There will be a $250 per day fee for out-of-region or non Region 9 District participants. If coop membership is required, there will be a $125 per day fee for non-coop participants.
