History and Reading Language Arts Mock Trial as Informational Text Grades 4-12 (ONLINE ZOOM July 23)




This session supports Social Studies teachers grades 6-12 via an online platform.

Important Session Information:


**Please note the date of this session is JULY 23** **Part of the session will be delivered by Zoom and the rest will be participant work time.** The Texas Municipal Courts Education Center (TMCEC) and Law-Related Education(LRE)/State Bar of Texas have created a mock trial curriculum that incorporates Texas laws into engaging lessons, scripted and unscripted mock trials, and law-related activities for 4th -12th grade social studies and language arts classes! All lessons correlate to TEKS. All teachers attending this online session will receive free, engaging hands-on materials and curricula for use in the session and then to keep for their classroom.
