Jobs and Education for Texans (JET) grant program WEBINAR




The JET program provides grants to community, technical and state colleges, and ISDs to purchase and install equipment necessary for the development of career and technical education courses or programs that lead to a license, certificate or post-secondary degree in a high-demand occupation.  This training webinar is provided by the Texas Workforce Commission and will give an overview of the JET grant program,  provide information required in the application for submitting the grant, and answer any questions pertaining to the grant.  In FY2020, there were 29 JET grants awarded to ISDs, ranging from a little over $40,000 up to $300,000, and we are excited about FY2021!
