Important Session Information:


This workshop is a comprehensive introduction and a critical update for new and experienced school personnel on the essentials of educator certification in Texas. Presenters begin with defining certification categories and work through classes of certificates, permits and assignment criteria for general, specialized and CTE teachers. TAC rule changes/updates related to bills passed in the 85th Texas Legislature will be addressed throughout the presentation. This interactive session will conclude with a discussion period for sharing questions, concerns, and solutions with each other.
