Burkburnett ISD: Handle With Care VERBAL Only Training (1/2 Day) Evans ELem. (Transp Aides only)




This course is for certification in Handle With Care practices. The training is a comprehensive crisis management system based that encompasses identifying the escalation of behavior and the signs that often precede student escalation, learning what it means to be a solid object and understanding the Tension/Tension Reduction Cycle.

AUDIENCE: Burk Transportation Aides only This course is for certification in Handle with Care VERBAL ONLY. The training is a comprehensive crisis management system that encompasses identifying the escalation of behavior and the signs that often precede student escalation, as well as learning what it means to be a solid object and understanding the Tension/Tension Reduction Cycle. Participants must complete all exercises and demonstrate competency in this half-day workshop to receive certification from the trainer. Participants are expected to meet both written and physical standards.
