Master Chef: Basic Ingredients for Quality Writing




All of the ingredients for strong writing (clarity, development, organization, style, word choice, sentence variety, and conventions) are also skills that will be tested through multiple-choice revising and editing items starting in the fall for grades 6th-8th. During this session we will look at a variety of ways to embed revising and editing skills into lesson plans in order to strengthen our students' understanding both in a multiple-choice format as well as in their own writing.
