Corn in the Classroom, K-5 Hands-On Science




Corn in the Classroom K-5 curriculum uses real-life agricultural concepts to teach science.

Important Session Information:


Many students are unaware of where their food and fiber come from and these pilot-tested, TEKS-aligned lessons help fill that gap while meeting science needs. In this free, hands-on workshop you will receive an introduction to the “why” behind Corn in the Classroom and participate in lesson demonstrations under the guidance of Leigha Pate, Ed.D., teacher and Texas Corn Producers curriculum team member. Each attendee will receive complimentary supplies to implement these lessons in their classroom!
