PreK, Head Start ARDs, IEPs, and PLAAFPs, Oh my! (face to face & ZOOM) PM




All sessions will be geared toward educators and administrators of early learners.  A wide variety of topics will be covered.

Important Session Information:


Have you ever been invited to an ARD and felt a little lost? This session is designed for PreK, ECSE, and Head Start educators to better understand their role in the ARD process and to be better prepared on meeting day. The teacher's contribution to the ARD committee is valuable. Together, let’s simplify the responsibilities of the teacher and highlight the relevance of the teacher’s role on the ARD committee. The focus will include preparing for the ARD meeting, interpreting the ARD paperwork, learning how to implement accommodations, and understanding compliance regarding students in special education.   • There will be a $250 per day fee for out-of-region or non Region 9 District participants. If coop membership is required, there will be a $125 per day fee for non-coop participants.
