This session is designed to support Social Studies educators. The session will be delivered through Canvas and Zoom.
Important Session Information:
This is a ZOOM session presented by Law-Related Education and good for 12 hours of credit. YOU MUST REGISTER IN TWO PLACES TO BE ADMITTED TO THE WORKSHOP AND RECEIVE CREDIT FOR THE SESSION. FIRST, register through Region for the zoom session. SECOND, navigate to this link www.texaslre.org and register for the session. REGISTRATION THROUGH REGION 9 DOES NOT GUARANTEE YOU A SEAT WITH LRE. YOU MUST REGISTER THROUGH THEM BEGINNING ON APRIL 19TH AND UNTIL THEY ARE FULL AND THEY FILL UP QUICKLY. SET A REMINDER ON YOUR CALENDAR TO LOG ON TO LRE'S SITE on APRIL 19TH. Lone Star Government is a 12-hour course designed to explore the eras of Texas History; the uniqueness of Texas government; and events that have shaped modern Texas. Learn how to stimulate student learning using Texas History Event cards.
