Creating Art From a Distance ZOOM 6/25/21 9:00-12;00




This workshop is for fine arts teachers.

Important Session Information:


This ZOOM session will explore how the Distance Learning program works by providing real time, interactive arts lessons in the exact format you would receive when you register for your school or classroom to participate. We’ll work with several professional artists from the community and beyond to do some fun and informative arts activities. See how you can incorporate art, music, dance and theatre into your classroom. You can use this information as a base for your own lesson planning and get first hand experience in how and what this FREE program offers you and your school. The ZOOM link will be emailed out prior to the workshop date, so please be sure your email is correct in the Region 9 PD registration system. Distance Learning is a free program offered to all Region 9 schools through partnership with the Arts Council WF. The program provides weekly real time online art lessons with a professional artist, but has expanded to include other areas of the fine arts such as dance, music and theatre. Su

  • There will be a $250 per day fee for out-of-region or non Region 9 District participants. If coop membership is required, there will be a $125 per day fee for non-coop participants.
