App Smash Hero with Marci Moore(K-12)




This class will count as a 6-hour G/T update credit.

Important Session Information:


In this one-day face-to-face workshop, join Marci Moore to learn to APP SMASH like a Hero! No matter the content or grade level, come and learn how to SMASH technology into the design of your lessons. Through this session, teachers will learn the art of using multiple apps to create an enhanced learning experience. Teachers will learn how to improve students’ reflection process, participation, and engagement by bringing learning and content to life with technology. Teachers will learn the art of APP SMASH on the following platforms: Canva, Wakelet, Flipgrid, Thinglink, AR with Mergcubes, Google Sites, and Interactive lessons with Nearpod. Teachers will leave with products and ideas for infusing the technology into lessons. Beginners are welcome! This class is free to all member districts in the Gifted/Talented Coop and will count as a 6-hour G/T update credit.

  • There will be a $250 per day fee for out-of-region or non Region 9 District participants. If coop membership is required, there will be a $125 per day fee for non-coop participants.
