JUNE 1st ONLY - Collaboration For Growth: STEM and Special Education Conference

This conference is a collaboration between Region 9's Teaching and Learning and Special Education departments to bring participants sessions that are relevant to all students. Speakers will provide a range of topics and various breakout sessions will be offered covering curriculum content areas, inclusion, learning disabilities, behavior management, transition, struggling readers and much more.

Important Session Information:

ALL Aboard! Region 9 is proud to combine our Special Education and Math and Science Conferences this year into our 3-day Collaboration for Growth Conference. Collaboration for Growth in ALL students is our goal for our 2022 combined STEM and Special Education Conference. Wednesday, June 1st, Mark McLeod will Welcome Us Aboard as our Keynote speaker. He will speak on classroom Management, effective Instruction, and student motivation. Join Mark as he shares proven strategies to develop the ultimate environment for success, encouraging ALL students to work hard and have positive behaviors in all learning environments. Participants can choose breakout sessions on topics including struggling readers, transition, behavior, autism, learning disabilities, collaboration, communication, and much more in the afternoon! ***THIS SESSION DOES NOT ALLOW FOR ATTENDANCE ON FRIDAY, JUNE 3RD, TO SEE GERRY BROOK’S KEYNOTE***

There will be a $250 per day fee for out-of-region or non Region 9 District participants. If coop membership is required, there will be a $125 per day fee for non-coop participants.
