JUNE 2ND ONLY - Collaboration For Growth: STEM and Special Education Conference

This conference is a collaboration between Region 9's Teaching and Learning and Special Education departments to bring participants sessions that are relevant to all students. Speakers will provide a range of topics and various breakout sessions will be offered covering curriculum content areas, inclusion, learning disabilities, behavior management, transition, struggling readers and much more.

Important Session Information:

ALL Aboard! Region 9 is proud to combine our Special Education and Math and Science Conferences this year into our 3-day Collaboration for Growth Conference. Collaboration for Growth in ALL students is our goal for our 2022 combined STEM and Special Education Conference. Thursday, June 2nd, will include a variety of breakout sessions covering Science, Technology/Technology integration for the classroom, Engineering, Math, STEM integration, and pedagogy to meet the needs of all levels of learners and teachers in K-12. Participants will be able to visit the exhibit hall throughout the day to learn about recent innovations that exist in education. There will be a Maker Space for participants to engage in hands-on activities throughout the day. This day will count as a 6 hour G/T update. ***THIS SESSION DOES NOT ALLOW FOR ATTENDANCE ON FRIDAY, JUNE 3RD, TO SEE GERRY BROOK’S KEYNOTE***

There will be a $250 per day fee for out-of-region or non Region 9 District participants. If coop membership is required, there will be a $125 per day fee for non-coop participants.
