JUNE 1ST, 2ND, AND JUNE 3RD- Collaboration For Growth: STEM and Special Education Conference 2022

This conference is a collaboration between Region 9's Teaching and Learning and Special Education departments to bring participants sessions that are relevant to all students. Speakers will provide a range of topics and various breakout sessions will be offered covering curriculum content areas, inclusion, learning disabilities, behavior management, transition, struggling readers and much more.

Important Session Information:

ALL Aboard! Region 9 is proud to combine our Special Education, Math, and Science Conferences into a 3-Day Collaboration for Growth Conference. On June 1st, Mark McLeod will Welcome Us Aboard. He will share proven strategies to encourage ALL students to work hard and have positive behaviors in all learning environments. Afternoon sessions will help educators support struggling learners in a variety of areas. June 2nd will include breakout sessions that cover various aspects of STEM and STEM integration to support the needs of all learners for teachers K-12. Participants can visit the exhibit hall to learn about recent innovations in education and a Maker Space for hands-on activities throughout the day. *6 hour G/T update credit. June 3rd, we will begin the disembarkment of our cruise with keynote speaker Gerry Brooks! In the afternoon, feature breakout sessions are geared toward all teachers and classrooms. *To attend the 6/3/22 keynote with Gerry Brooks, you must register for AND ATTEND Day 1 and/or Day 2.*

There will be a $250 per day fee for out-of-region or non Region 9 District participants. If coop membership is required, there will be a $125 per day fee for non-coop participants.
