CANCEL: T-TESS Refresher for Administrators and TIA Calibration




This training is for administrators responsible for teacher appraisal using the Texas Teacher Evaluation and Support System.  Appraisers are responsible to recertify on a three year cycle.  This refresher course will assist appraisers leading up to that recertification test. This session is a refresher course only, it is not required in order to recertify. In addition, it does not fulfill requirement for INITIAL certification.

Important Session Information:


In addition to a review of the T-TESS Rubric, participants will also be provided information about Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) related to teacher observation and how to incorporate calibration activities to comply with TIA requirements. Participants are encouraged to bring your "marked up" T-TESS Rubric used during the 3 day certification training, if available. Bring a device in order to review historical appraisal data (DMAC or Eduphoria).
