Youth Mental Health First Aid- Note: ZOOM 8:00AM-12:30PM NOTE: Registration Ends 5/23/22

Important Session Information:


Youth Mental Health First Aid teaches you how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illness and substance use disorders in youth. This 8-hour training gives adults who work with youth the skills they need to reach out and provide initial support to children and adolescents who may be developing a mental health or substance use problem and help connect them to the appropriate care. THIS COURSE IS 6.5 HOURS TOTAL WITH 2 HOURS OF REQUIRED PRE-WORK AND 4.5 HOURS VIA ZOOM. THE COURSE WILL START AT 8:00 AM AND END AT 12:30 PM. PREWORK FROM THE NATIONAL COUNCIL IS REQUIRED PRIOR TO ATTENDING THE COURSE AND WILL BE ASSIGNED A WEEK BEFORE THE ZOOM COURSE. ESC WORKS REGISTRATION WILL END ONE WEEK PRIOR TO THE COURSE TO ALLOW TIME TO COMPLETE PREWORK.
