Corn in the Classroom, K-5 Hands-On Science - FREE set of supplies!




Corn in the Classroom K-5 curriculum uses real-life agricultural concepts to teach science.

Important Session Information:


Many students are unaware of where their food and fiber come from and these pilot-tested, TEKS-aligned lessons help fill that gap while meeting science needs. In this free, hands-on workshop you will receive an introduction to the “why” behind Corn in the Classroom and participate in lesson demonstrations under the guidance of a Corn in the Classroom curriculum team member. Each attendee will receive a set COMPLIMENTARY SUPPLIES to implement these lessons in their classroom!

  • There will be a $250 per day fee for out-of-region or non Region 9 District participants. If coop membership is required, there will be a $125 per day fee for non-coop participants.
