Share
This is a great opportunity for campuses in school improvement!
Important Session Information:
Do you have a stash of manipulatives sitting in your room just collecting dust? Learn how to effectively use fraction strips, spinners, counters, and more in MATH and READING. Manipulatives are ANY physical objects that are used as teaching tools to engage students in the hands-on learning of mathematics and reading instruction. They can be used to introduce, practice, or remediate a concept. Manipulatives are a must when it comes to teaching math and reading. This is a great opportunity for campuses in school improvement. You will leave this training with a toolbox full of instructional strategies to successfully incorporate the use of manipulatives in math and reading during whole group, small groups, stations, and independent activities. We will also spend time focusing on ways to challenge your GT students while using manipultives.
