Important Session Information:


Let’s get our kids writing about Math- no matter what grade level they are in! With STAAR 2.0 coming up, we need to get the kids writing about their thinking in all subject areas. They need to feel comfortable and confident in explaining their thinking patterns and processes. This professional development session is a fun, no whammies, opportunity for teachers to learn about different avenues to get the kids writing about their problem-solving in math. This session gives students a range of variety of ways to channel their thinking and writing and encourage out of the box explainations to help "Sam" solve his mistakes. Teachers will leave this session with a plethora of ideas on how to incorporate daily math journals and problem-solving writing in their classroom!
