[CANCEL] LRE: Civics Rocks! (F2F) (4-8 Social Studies) June 30, 2022




This session supports Social Studies teachers grades 4-8.

Important Session Information:


***Lunch Provided*** Presented by Texas LRE. Civics Rocks includes foundational social studies skills that are applicable to upper elementary and middle school students including knowledge of political institutions and how to become a more active citizen in their school, community, state, and nation. The curriculum has been designed to allow easy integration into existing curriculum. Its focus on forms of government makes it especially relevant to 6th grade World Cultures educators. Explore lessons and strategies that support student success and enrich existing curriculum. Participants receive access to all materials upon completion of the session.
