Session
Information:
In this self-paced on-line Canvas book study, we will explore issues of equality, environment, opportunity, and the hidden rules of poverty. We will focus on making the identification process more equitable for these students by focusing on their assets rather than deficits. **Participants are responsible for obtaining a copy of this book, Removing the Mask: Giftedness in Poverty, 3rd Edition by Paul D. Slocumb, Ruby K. Payne, and Ellen Williams. Participants will read the book and and complete reflection questions. This session is free to members of the G/T Coop and counts as a six-hour G/T update. Non coop districts will be required to pay a $125.00 registration fee.
