CANCEL: High-Impact Tutoring Workshop (2 day session) (FACE TO FACE)




This training is intended to support accelerated instruction for all students through high-impact tutoring models and strategies.

Important Session Information:


***Lunch provided both days*** This is a two day series. The High Impact Tutoring workshop will guide LEA leadership in shaping and launching a tutoring program that is highly effective. Day one objectives include (1) articulating a tutoring approach through key decisions grounded in research-based design principles and how students will benefit and (2) determining the data source(s) used to identify and group eligible students. Day two objectives include (1) planning for hiring and training tutors using HQIM (2) developing a plan for ongoing tutor support (3) ensuring all stakeholders understand the purpose of tutoring, how teachers and tutors work together, and how to support tutoring and (4) drafting a communication plan for all adults involved.

  • There will be a $250 per day fee for out-of-region or non Region 9 District participants. If coop membership is required, there will be a $125 per day fee for non-coop participants.
