Instructional Routines for Mathematics Intervention (2nd - 8th Grade) (9 hour Credit)




Participates will be provided instructional routines and materials for designing mathematics intervention. The routines are designed for students in second through eighth grade. 

Important Session Information:


In this session, participants will learn how to use and receive a set of Instructional Routines for Mathematics Intervention created by Inclusion In Texas to use with their students. The routines are designed for students in second - eighth grade. The materials contain 23 modules that are focused on different mathematics content. These modules feature step-by-step routines for explicit teaching of the mathematics content, vocabulary Cards with visuals that can be easily displayed in the classroom, and problem Sets with greater than 50 ready-to-use problems for each module. This session is in 2 parts. The first 6 hours of credit will be received during the face-to-face session on July 12, 2022. The remaining 3 hours will be received during the fall semester. After participants complete the 6-hour face-to-face training session, 3 hours of coaching and support will be provided to each participant at their campus during the implementation with students of the Instruction Routines for Mathematics Intervention.
