Supporting Formative Assessments in Science Classrooms (Grades 3-12)




Formative assessment provides feedback and information during the instructional process while learning is occurring.

Important Session Information:


Transform your science instruction with a rich collection of formative assessment tools. Based on Page Keely's book, participants will actively participate in a variety of formative assessment classroom techniques and learn how to implement them in the classroom. Provide your students with opportunities to problem-solve and think outside of the box. Some participants will receive a free book. This will count as a 6 hour GT update credit.

  • There will be a $250 per day fee for out-of-region or non Region 9 District participants. If coop membership is required, there will be a $125 per day fee for non-coop participants.
