Discover ways to create learning opportunities for students in the library.

Important Session Information:


In this session, librarians and library paraprofessionals will discuss ways to support our teachers and each other as a Learning Leader in our district. Some of the topics we will cover are: Marketing the Library, Reading Incentives, Book Clubs, Book Fairs, Maker Spaces, TexQuest Digital Resources, and Book Repairs. We will also look into the School Library Programs Standards and Guidelines for Texas which are the blueprint for all Texas school libraries. Come join us for a full day dedicated to libraries, where the best learning leaders thrive!

  • There will be a $250 per day fee for out-of-region or non Region 9 District participants. If coop membership is required, there will be a $125 per day fee for non-coop participants.
