SPED Self-Assessment Overview and Work Session (Face to Face)




Participants will engage in a deeper look into the LEA self-assessment, explore sources of evidence, guiding questions, compliance/strategy items, and quality levels and be able to complete the self-assessment and support ongoing LEA improvement efforts. District Teams are encouraged to attend to work on SPED Self-Assessment submissions.

Important Session Information:


LEAs are required to complete all 23 Strategy Areas for the 2023 SPED Self-Assessment submission due September 29th, 2023.

  • There will be a $250 per day fee for out-of-region or non Region 9 District participants. If coop membership is required, there will be a $125 per day fee for non-coop participants.
