Elementary Earth and Space Science, Grades K-5




Elementary science workshops will provide teachers with resources to implement TEKS aligned, research and content- based activities and strategies into the K-5 science classroom. Workshop descriptors will designate the specific grade level targeted during the session.

Important Session Information:


Houston, there's no problem here! Explore Earth and Space science TEKS in the elementary classroom. Participants will engage in a variety of hands-on activities they can take back to their classrooms. We will model how to differentiate for all learners, including open-ended problem-solving and student choice. This session will be out of this world! This will count as a 6-hour G/T update credit.

  • There will be a $250 per day fee for out-of-region or non Region 9 District participants. If coop membership is required, there will be a $125 per day fee for non-coop participants.
