In this self-paced on-line Canvas book study participants will explore the intense feelings and emotions of gifted students, how to deal with these emotions in the classroom, and strategies to teach students to manage their highs and lows that accompany emotional intensity. **Participants will be responsible for obtaining a copy of this book, Emotional Intensity in Gifted Students by Christine Fonseca. This class is free to all member districts in the Gifted/Talented Coop and will count as a 6-hour G/T update credit. Non-coop districts will be required to pay a $125.00 registration fee.
