Reading Instruction For Secondary Struggling Readers




This session will provide information on how readers read based on the Science of Reading and provide educators with strategies to help support struggling readers. 



Important Session Information:


In this session, we will identify evidence-based practices for instructional content and delivery for each instructional tier, describe how instruction can be intensified for students who demonstrate an inadequate response to instruction, and discuss the five potential pressure points for improving adolescent literacy across tiers 1, 2, and 3. This session can count as a 6 hr GT update credit.
