Effective Engagement for Young Learners (AM)




All sessions will be geared toward educators and administrators of early learners.  A wide variety of topics will be covered.

Important Session Information:


Because research shows that academic language is directly tied to student success in literacy and the content areas in elementary and beyond, this session will include research-based strategies to help emergent bilinguals develop both their social and academic language through the use of content-based language instruction.

  • There will be a $250 per day fee for out-of-region or non Region 9 District participants. If coop membership is required, there will be a $125 per day fee for non-coop participants.
