CATCH PE Training




This workshop is for PE and/or Health teachers.

Important Session Information:


This training is ideal for those wanting to implement CATCH (Coordinated Approach to Child Health) in PE classes or dedicated physical activity sessions. You will be taught and demonstrated strategies to encourage and increase moderate-to-vigorous physical activity. CATCH is based on the CDC Whole School, Whole Community, Whole Child model in which health education, school environment, and family/community involvement work together to support youth in a healthy lifestyle. PLEASE REGISTER EARLY: MUST HAVE AT LEAST 10 PARTICIPANTS TO HOLD TRAINING.

  • There will be a $250 per day fee for out-of-region or non Region 9 District participants. If coop membership is required, there will be a $125 per day fee for non-coop participants.
