Session Detail

Basic Behavior Threat Assessment Training

These workshops meet requirements for School Safety/Mental Health requirements under Title IV, Part A.

Important Session Information:

Threat Assessment provides a proactive, evidence-based approach for identifying individuals who may pose a threat and providing interventions before a violent incident occurs. Texas public schools and open-enrollment charter schools are mandated to establish a threat assessment team to serve at each campus. Each team is required to complete training provided by the TxSSC or their Regional Service Center. It is highly recommended that ALL members of the SSSP team attend the training as a team.
