Make Stuff & Love People: Fall 2023 Assistive Technology Feature Session




This session is designed to provide specific Assistive Technology resources for AT Specialists and members of the IEP Team.

Important Session Information:


Dr. Therese Willkomm, author of Make Stuff and Love People: Assistive Technology Solutions in Minutes, will discuss and demonstrate hundreds of solutions that can be created using everyday materials. Participants will learn how to re-purpose every day items into extraordinary solutions. In addition, each participant will fabricate 10 different multi use devices for reading, writing, holding, carrying, communicating, and self-regulation to benefit individuals who have vision, hearing, communication, physical or intellectual disabilities. This is GUARANTEED to be one of the most practical and useful workshops you have ever attended!

  • There will be a $250 per day fee for out-of-region or non Region 9 District participants. If coop membership is required, there will be a $125 per day fee for non-coop participants.
