Focus on Instruction - Phonological Awareness (Grades PK-2) ZOOM Virtual - June 26, 2023, 9 am to 12 pm

In collaboration with West College of Education at Midwestern State University, Region 9 Education Service Center will host this half-day (3 hrs) virtual Zoom event.
Important Session Information:
This session explores the research behind phonological awareness instruction and its application in the classroom. Practical strategies that can be used to teach all facets of this important component of literacy will be practiced and shared. Participants will be provided with activities and materials that can be used when teaching Phonological Awareness in Grades PK-2. MSU West College of Education will provide an instructional resource to each participant completing the 3 hour Zoom session. The title of this instructional tool is, "Phonological Awareness: Instructional Activities for use Throughout the Day!". This is a 3-hour virtual Zoom session. The Zoom link will be sent to you via email a few days before this session begins.
