Food Allergies for School Nutrition Managers and Staff/Accommodating Special Dietary Needs




Texas Department of Agriculture's Child Nutrition Programs include the National School Lunch Program (NSLP), School Breakfast Program (SBP) and the USDA Commodity Program. These events will enhance professional development for staff involved with these programs and ensure compliance.

Important Session Information:


This class is designed to give school nutrition professionals tips and tools for preparing and serving safe food for children with food allergies. Topics include the laws related to food-related disabilities, steps for accommodating students with food allergies, and managing food allergies in outside food sources.
