STAAR Social Studies 2.0: Taking New Item Types to the Next Level (F2F) (Jan. 30, 2024 9a-4p) (4-12 Social Studies)




This session supports Social Studies teachers grades 3-12.

Note: This session is a repeat of the workshop offered on October 24, 2023. NEW DATE: 1/30/2024 9am-4pm. Spring of 2023 was the first year for implementation of the new STAAR/EOC question types for social studies. Join us for an engaging and interactive session as we analyze the new item types as they appeared on the 2023 test, then delve deeper into the realm of the new item types, equipping teachers with cutting-edge strategies to elevate their social studies instruction. Join us in this collaborative learning journey as we unlock new possibilities with STAAR Social Studies 2.0 and pave the way for enriched educational outcomes. Note: This workshop will be great for teachers new to 8th and 11th grade as well as those who need a refresher and update on the latest TEA information regarding these question types and any changes that may be coming for 2024.
