Amplify Texas ELAR WFISD K-2 Only Cunningham, Fain, Franklin, Scotland Park, Zundy




Built on the Science of Reading, Amplify Texas is a comprehensive curriculum that  seqences deep content knowledge with research-based foundational skills by providing students with background knowledge in history, science, literature and the arts. Knowledge building curriculum enables students to build a robust knowledge base for accessing and uncpacking complex texts, so that real comprehension can happen.  

Important Session Information:


This is the Amplify Texas ELAR Initial Training for K-2 Teachers. Amplify Texas is a Tier 1 Instructional Program that builds knowledge through high interest topics and themes, while incorporating social studies, science and literary content. In addition to delivering Tier 1 content, it also includes embedded support for students that are working below grade level, as well as challenging prompts and activities for students that are considered gifted learners. Amplify Texas curriculum is rooted in the Science of Reading and is RBIS aligned. This training session is for WFISD Teachers, Principals, and Instructional Coaches who are part of the Amplify Collaborative.
