This session focuses on the integration of maniulatives in the morning and tying math journaling in the afternoon

Participants will explore a variety of math manipulatives suitable for different grade levels, delve into practical strategies for integrating manipulatives into daily lessons, and discover how these concrete learning tools can deepen conceptual understanding. From base-ten blocks to fraction and decimal conversion rods, this session will guide educators in creating dynamic, interactive math experiences that cater to diverse learning styles. Then, participants will discover creative approaches to implementing Math Journals, explore various prompts and activities for different grade levels, and understand how journaling can deepen students' understanding of mathematical concepts.
