Speak With No Fear: Supporting Students in Public Speaking




More education means more opportunities. These college and career readiness sessions focus on how to help students develop the skills, knowledge, and abilities they need to be successful in a career or college setting.

Important Session Information:


Did you know that public speaking is the number one fear on a global scale, and most people fear it more than death? Why is that? In this session, we will identify common causes of performance anxiety and explore tools and practices to help students (and maybe ourselves) overcome their inability to speak in front of others. As students work towards college and career readiness, learning how to present themselves is crucial to success. Let's help them get there!

  • There will be a $250 per day fee for out-of-region or non Region 9 District participants. If coop membership is required, there will be a $125 per day fee for non-coop participants.
