CANVAS Culture, the Brain, and Connections for Academic Impact (Canvas) June 1-July 31, 2024

These sessions are designed to meet the needs of districts or campuses in addressing emergent bilingual students/English learners in the classroom.

Important Session Information:

We will address the theories and strategies of brain-compatible culturally responsive teaching and the benefits for culturally and linguistically diverse students in the areas of student learning, academic achievement, and life-long success. Please note that while the course ends on July 31st, registration closes on July 24th in order to allow sufficient time to engage with the course content. There will be a $250 per day fee for out-of-region or non Region 9 District participants. If coop membership is required, there will be a $125 per day fee for non-coop participants.
